About the Photographer

Born in Bucharest, Romania in 1986, Andrei inherited his passion for photography from his grandfather, along with a few antique cameras.
Soon after receiving his first digital camera in 2004, he discovered that nothing could keep him away from it for long. He developed a passion for creating the best possible image out of every situation.
After being accepted to SUNY Plattsburgh in August 2006, he started his formal photographic instruction with professors Sheri Dumont and Susan Lezon. Andrei soon discovered that his favorite genre was portrait photography.
Andrei is currently continuing his studies at SUNY Plattsburgh while working as a staff photographer for Cardinal Points, the award-winning student-run college newspaper.
